I bought the wrong size and I think I want a different color. Can I exchange it?

Sure, subject to our standard Exchange/Return Policy.


I bought an item I no longer want. Can I return it?

What happened? First you want it, now you don’t want it. Yeah, we’ll take it back, subject to our standard Exchange/Return Policy.


How much will it cost for shipping?

Purchases totaling $49.99 and less cost $8.00 to a United States address. If you spend $50.00 or more (before tax, if in Michigan) your shipping to a United States address is free!



What size fits me best?We have added size charts to many of the items on Perfmoto.com. They are located in the upper left corner of the items detail page under the brand logo if available.

It is important to note that the sizes are for reference only and may vary based on model. For example, helmets come in a variety of shell shapes and fit very differently. You might wear a Large in your current helmet, but an Extra Large in a different brand, or even a Double-Extra Large. And some helmets may not even feel comfortable if you're trying to fit your oval head into a round helmet. The only way to be sure is to try it on. Perfmoto.com offers an exchange program so you can get the right fit for just the cost of return shipping.

Also, the fit of jackets, suits, pants, and darn near everything else on the site is dependent on the manufacturer's pattern. If you've never tried on a Dainese jacket, you might want to give us a call before you buy. Or, if you have the means, many of our customers buy two of the same item for comparing and then return the one that doesn't fit for a full refund. We call that a "Pro-active exchange."

How long will it take to get my items?
This is a popular question!  The standard answer is that we will ship your order in 1 to 5 business days and send a tracking number when it leaves our warehouse. We stock many of the items we sell, but sometimes we need to order a size or color from our suppliers. If that happens, it might take a few days before we can ship it to you. Depending on where you live relative to our store, it could take a few more days to get to your location. So, if you're in a hurry, please call us first so we can check inventory and give you an estimate for transit time.



Do I have to pay sales tax?

If you are a Michigan resident, PerfMoto.com adds 6% sales tax to your order. We don’t collect sales tax from non-Michigan residents.


What if my package is damaged when I receive it?

If you receive a damaged package, contact the shipping company immediately. We’re glad to help but the package becomes the responsibility of the shipping company once it leaves our warehouse.

Can I make a Special Order?

If you don’t see an item that you want, please call or email us as we may have your item in our retail store but just haven’t listed it on PerfMoto.com yet.


What if my item is not in stock?

PerfMoto.com does its best to maintain adequate inventory levels and track our suppliers’ inventory. Occasionally, most frequently at model-year changeover, we sell two of an item but only have one available. If that happens on your order, we will notify you immediately and offer an alternative item or a refund.


What about backorders?

We may not find out until after your item is purchased that it is on backorder. If that happens, we’ll contact you and try to give an approximate delivery date. You may choose to wait for the item, or we’ll refund your purchase.



Do you charge my credit card at time of purchase or when you ship?
Since we make every effort to have items in stock or available for shipping within a few days, we charge your card for the full payment at the time of purchase. If an item is unavailable or backordered, we will offer to refund your credit card immediately.



I left a message. How long before you return my call/email?

If you left a message, please be patient as we try to give everyone excellent service. We’ll try to get back to you the same day. Mondays sometimes take a little longer since we’re replying to weekend messages, too.
